Do you every wonder what little boys think about? lost in their Little Boy Thoughts.
I've been re-reading Richard Schmid's Book "Alla Prima" and he has a few of his monochrome paintings in the book. As he says sometimes he starts his paintings by blocking in, in a monochrome way and is so pleased with the outcome he never adds colour preferring to leave them as is. I think they are magnificent and tried to tackle one of my own. I think I will do a similar one of a little girl to be a matching pair.
