Hope you all had a great Christmas! I'm excited to get back to work. I'm working on a painting that will be included in an exhibition entitled "International Women Celebrate." There will be 100 artists from across the globe taking part in honour of International Women's Day and it will be held in Ayr, Ontario during the Spring of 2011.
Here is the first installment for this WIP. Since this larger than I usually work I decided to make a vine charcoal drawing first to get the proportions correct. Then I went in with a burnt umber wash to check the composition. Check back often as this needs to be completed ASAP.
