6 x 8 Oil

I've gone back to a mellower palette and am pleased with this little painting. I was going for a very loose interpretation, focusing slightly more on the face. I've recently been reading Harley Brown's book and noted how he used little spots of cool colour in his predominantly warm paintings.

This is a study for a larger painting

AWESOME ... I admire anyone who can express themselves with a tube of paint and a brush!
