I hung my skates up in my studio and had a go at painting them. I scraped into the paint while it was still wet. I may fiddle some more with the background colour, not sure yet. I'll live with it for a few days and reassess.

Please don't fiddle..it's perfect!
Thanks Sandra and Carol. Don't always feel lucky to be able to skate - especially after a very long cold snap. We quite often go to the indoor rinks.
I really like these Donna -very funky how the way you painted them feel like cut marks on the ice surface.
