A few months back I was introduced to a great restaurant called Cafe Koi located at 100, 1011 - 1st Street SW, Calgary. The food is fabulous - the veggie burger is the best I've ever tasted - and I've tasted quite a few. Frederick the owner supports local artists and musicians by allowing his space to be used to promote their work. The restaurant also holds several open mics and comedy improvs a month to showcase the talents of the community.
