I completed and sold this painting a while ago. It was done using a technique that Mike Svob demonstrated during a workshop I attended. The canvas is first painted with black gesso and then the image is painted in a mosaic fashion leaving black outlines. It creates a stained glass effect. I think I will try another one of these - I really like the effect.
